CBS MarketWatch  Stock market information with stock graphs. Enter the stock symbol at the prompt.

Yahoo  Standard corporate overview with some stock and ratio information. Also has some links to more in depth information.

Hoover's  Enter the stock symbol at the ticker symbol prompt. Hoover's has a free standard overview with some links to other locations. Look at the bottom of the page for some good industry "snapshots." For all services, a fee of $49.00 per month is charged.

Timely.com This site has stock indexes charted.  Really useful if you want to get an idea of how a particular industry is doing in the stock market.  Click on Industry Indexes in the left panel.

Financial Information

Free Edgar This is a great resource, but it costs $14.25 per quarter. The filings are translated into hypertext documents, and the financial statements and supporting tables are available in spreadsheet form. Search for your company and go into the filings section. Go to the company's last 10K and find the statement or table you want, then click the button to create an Excel spreadsheet of the data and download it to your computer.

SEC Filings The standard government, no-frills financial statement site.

Edgar Online This is a site that requires you to register for a short-term password. They have the same government data.
